![]() ![]() Once the download is complete, reboot the iPhone and the device should run iOS 16 the next time it boots up. Do note that the phone requires a certain amount of free storage space for the new update to download, so the users must check they have enough available storage before trying to download the new update. Once the phone boots back up, open the 'Settings' app, go to 'General,' then select 'Software Update.' On the next page, iOS 16 will be ready for download, so simply tap on the 'Download and Install' button to get started. Now restart the phone to get it ready to download the iOS 16 public beta. Users may have to hit 'Install' a couple more times before installing the file. ![]() Once the downloading is done, tap 'Install,' enter the passcode and then follow on-screen instructions. Here, read the literature carefully and then hit the blue 'Download profile' button. On the next page, scroll down a little, and under 'Get Started,' tap 'Enroll your iOS device.' On the next page, scroll down and look for the 'Install Profile' section. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update. Now log into Apple ID using the Face ID attached to the iPhone. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi. To get started with the installation, go to the Apple Beta Software Program website (download link in the source below) on the target iPhone and tap on the blue 'Sign Up' button. ![]()
